‭--- ‬How do I run the program‭?‬

Double click on Foonsha.jar‭. ‬If double clicking on Foonsha.jar does not work then make sure you have the latest version of JAVA installed‭. ‬You can download it here

‭--- ‬How are the files renamed‭?‬

Music files are renamed Artist-Album-Title.mp3‭(‬or‭ .‬m4a‭). ‬The previous tags are deleted and replaced with the artist‭, ‬album and title . ‬Also if the song is part of a compilatio of songs from various albums the program has a tendency to rename songs to their original album name‭.‬

‭--- ‬How does foonsha know how to rename the files‭?‬

Foonsha uses a MusicDNS algorithm to listen to the song and then identifies the song based on how it sounds‭. ‬It then contacts the MusicBrainz database and searches for all the song's many versions and releases‭. ‬The program then determines which one of the releases match best and renames the file.
