Contact us.
--- How are the files renamed?
Music files are renamed Artist-Album-Title.mp3(or .m4a). The
previous tags are deleted and replaced with the artist, album and
title . Also if the song is part of a compilatio of songs from various
albums the program has a tendency to rename songs to their original
album name.
--- How does foonsha know how to rename the files?
Foonsha uses a MusicDNS algorithm to listen to the song and then
identifies the song based on how it sounds. It then contacts the
MusicBrainz database and searches for all the song's many versions and
releases. The program then determines which one of the releases match
best and renames the file.
